Moves in Helsinki differ a lot from district to district. Kalasatama and Jätkäsaari are full of apartment towers, where a booked elevator and a well-parked truck decide whether the move takes 3 hours or 5. We plan both in advance. The older buildings of Kallio, Punavuori and Eira often have narrow stairwells and no elevator, so careful protection and an experienced crew save a lot of time there. In Paloheinä, Tapaninvainio and other house districts, our larger truck and 3-person crew usually pay for themselves in hours saved.

A studio takes 2–3 hours (€180–270), a one-bedroom with 1–2 residents 3–5 hours (€270–450) and a two-bedroom or larger 5–7 hours with three movers (€600–840). The rate is €90/h with two movers or €120/h with three. A building without a lift adds hours; a new building with a loading bay saves them.
No. Saturday and Sunday are charged at the same rate as a weekday, and there is no evening surcharge. Crossing district or city boundaries is free too, because all kilometres are included in the hourly rate.

Local knowledge
Two identical flats can take three hours or six, depending on where in Helsinki they are. That's why we ask about the floor, the lift and the parking situation while quoting. The estimate holds much better that way.
Old inner city: narrow stairwells, steep spiral stairs and often no lift at all. Sofas and double beds go up by hand, so allow extra time.
New buildings with lifts and proper loading bays give the fastest moves in the city. You just need to book the lift through the housing company in advance.
In low-rise areas and 1960s–70s blocks, yard access is tight in places, so we check the route beforehand and bring a smaller truck when needed.
Downtown, the timetable depends on how close the truck can park. We arrange a temporary parking permit when needed, so just give us the address in the form.
If the flat needs cleaning for the handover, move-out cleaning happens on the same day at the Mover rate of €40/h with one cleaner. A one-bedroom takes about 4 hours, roughly €160. Our waste removal takes old furniture and junk to the recycling station: transport from €90 (depending on the amount) plus the station's fees at cost.
