Rules of thumb: cubic metres and truck choice
A studio (yksiö) usually fits in our 20 m³ Mercedes, a two-room kaksio in the 25 m³ Mercedes L, and homes from about 50 m² travel in the 35 m³ Iveco — one run, tightly packed by professionals. One moving box is about 0.1 m³, so 1 m³ holds roughly ten boxes; a sofa takes around 1.7 m³ and a wardrobe about 0.8 m³.

What size moving truck do I need for a studio?
A studio's belongings usually fit in our ~20 m³ Mercedes. A two-room kaksio travels in the 25 m³ Mercedes L, and from about 50 m² we bring the 35 m³ Iveco — professionally packed it takes up to a 120 m² home in one run.
How many moving boxes fit in one cubic metre?
A moving box is about 0.1 m³, so roughly 10 boxes fit in 1 m³. A sofa takes about 1.7 m³ and a wardrobe about 0.8 m³. Fill boxes completely — a half-empty box collapses in the stack.
Can I rent the truck without movers?
We don't rent bare trucks — the price always includes the truck, the movers, carrying, moving blankets and fuel. Two movers with a van from €90/h, three movers with the big Iveco €120/h.
