Rules of thumb: cubic metres and truck size
A studio (about 5 m³) fits easily in our 23 m³ Mercedes with two movers. A two-room flat with 1–2 residents gets two movers too. For a bigger family and a bigger load we come with three movers and the 30 m³ Iveco, which usually takes a two-bedroom flat or a small house in one trip when packed tightly. One moving box is about 0.1 m³, so ten boxes make a cubic metre.

What size moving truck do I need for a studio?
A studio, about 5 m³ of things, fits easily in our 23 m³ Mercedes with two movers. A two-room flat with 1–2 residents gets two movers too. For a bigger family and a bigger load we come with three movers and the 30 m³ Iveco.
How many moving boxes fit in a cubic metre?
A moving box is about 0.1 m³, so roughly 10 boxes fit in a cubic metre. A three-seat sofa takes about 1.7 m³ and a wide wardrobe taken apart about 0.4 m³. Fill boxes to the top so they do not collapse in the stack.
How does the calculator estimate the price?
Working hours come from the volume: studio 2–3 h, one-bedroom 3–5 h, two-bedroom 4–7 h and a house 6–10 h. Floors without a lift add 0.25 h per floor and a long carry 0.5 h. Hours are multiplied by the hourly rate: two movers and a truck €90/h, three movers and the Iveco €120/h.
Can I rent the truck without movers?
We do not rent bare trucks. The price always includes the truck, the movers, carrying, moving blankets and fuel.
